About Patricia Lee

Music was Patricia Lee’s first language. Performing for an audience is her oasis, and she is as comfortable holding her own against a thirty-two piece orchestra as she is alone on stage, belting out a Billy Holiday classic. The joy she brings to her music, and the gift she has for drawing an audience into the magic of her favorite old Jazz and Motown standards, has earned her the love of listeners across the country.

Her ability to adapt vocally to so many styles and situations, coupled with her unbridled enthusiasm for performance, has earned her the respect and admiration of the Northwest musical community. Her absolute professionalism and reliability in an often unpredictable line of work has earned her the appreciation of her clients. For Patricia Lee, the shared experience of a perfect night, with the perfect musical accompaniment, is the greatest gift she can give to her audience, She’s bringing back the magic of Motown, the romance of the duet, and the simple fun of the supper club, because it only takes the right music to turn a gathering into a party.

Patricia learned to sing at the knee of her father, accompanied by her siblings, but it wasn’t enough for her to keep the joy of the practice to her family. She became the front woman for a rock band, singing for clubs she wasn’t old enough to be in, spending breaks locked safely away in a back room. The move that turned her passion into music for a career, though, was joining the Paramount Performing Orchestra in Seattle. With them, she had the opportunity to work with Jazz great Dave Lewis and to earn her place in the Northwest music scene and her reputation as a vocal talent to be sought after.

Patricia says that “people are ready to get closer again,” and she wants to be a part of that. Music, the right kind of music, can make that happen. That’s her gift.
